Hello Mummy OTT Platform and Release Date

Following its release in theaters the 21st of November, 2024 Hello Mummy became available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video starting February 28th 2025. The film will be accessible to Prime Video subscribers in Malayalam which allows a wider public to experience this horror comedy.

Storyline

Hello Mummy tells the life of Boney who is a fun and playful man who owns an animal shop. Despite the efforts of his family to have him married, Boney avoids commitment. He does eventually meet Stephy who is a well-educated lady, and the two establish a bond. Stephy is willing to wed Boney subject to an agreement that Boney move to her home after the wedding.

After their wedding, Boney discovers that Stephy’s deceased mother’s spirit, who is obsessive-compulsive, haunts the house and disapproves of him. This spirit demands strict rules for the household and makes Boney’s life difficult. In a bid to gain her trust, Boney and Stephy communicate secretly through text messages, because the spirit cannot be able to hear words spoken.

As the story unfolds Boney seeks out help from Kanchamma who is a fading spiritualist, and meets Ashabha, an assassin with hidden motives. In the final confrontation, Stephy’s mother’s spirit as well as Kanchamma team up to defend the couple, eventually eradicating the evil, and bring peace to the family.

In the end, Hello Mummy offers a hilarious take on supernatural elements that are interspersed with family relationships. Its streaming through Amazon Prime Video allows a larger audience to enjoy this enjoyable horror comedy.
