Storyline
The film takes place in the town of Kuruvadipatti close to Thanjavur The film follows Animuthu an old man of 52 who is apathetic and indulges in eating, cooking and sleeping. His life is taken on the turn of events when his sister brings his son Thamil who is staying with his family in. Thamil’s arrival has new dynamics and a blossoming relationship with Poongothai who is a local shopkeeper.
The plot is heightened as the state announces an initiative providing financial assistance to construct toilets. In an attempt to evade the system, uses a fake photograph in order to claim the funds.
