Japanese animation company Science Saru created the Dan Da Dan animated series which is based upon manga written by author Yukinobu Tatsu. The story centers around two high school buddies, Momo, who believes in ghosts and Okarun believer in aliens. They both reject their beliefs. This is the twist: Momo is soon entangled with aliens and Okarun is reunited with an unnamed ghost called Turbo Granny. These supernatural and sci-fi adventures take them on a thrilling adventure, where they have to fight Acrobatic Silky as well as save their friends, discover romance, and many more exciting adventures.
The first season concludes in Chapter 35 in the Manga, where the team goes on a hunt for Jiji’s haunted house. Additionally, Momo visits a hot springs town, which is engulfed by creepy crawlies.
The voice cast includes the voice actor Shion Wakayama who plays Momo as well as Natsuki Hanae who plays Okarun.
