Mayfair Witches, the gothic supernatural drama inspired by Anne Rice’s best-selling novel it is renewed for a second season. AMC announced the announcement on the 9th April. This season’s premiere is scheduled to debut sometime in 2026 or 2027. The award-winning producer and writer Thomas Schnauz will join Esta Spalding as co-showrunners for Season 3.
In the first episode, that premiered in 2023 was the first to introduce Rowan Fielding (played by Alexandra Daddario) as an aspiring neurosurgeon who discovers that she is the daughter of the formidable Mayfair Witches family. Season two, which aired in 2024, delved into the family’s history of witchcraft and introduces the mysterious supernatural creature Lasher.

The story is set to undergo a significant geographic shift towards Salem and Massachusetts in the US, and away as opposed to New Orleans. The upcoming season will feature many topics that have never been discussed about Salem’s dark history as well as witch trials. The third season will feature new witch families that are’spellbound’.
The new showrunner is Thomas Schnauz Spalding declared that she was happy to have Tom to the show in season 3. The historical rich twist on the Salem story is the most scrumptious promise to date.
Schnauz expressed his joy and excitement, noting his reunion with AMC Schnauz showed his enthusiasm, and mentioned his reunion with both AMC Mark Johnson to film Mayfair Witches. He also stated that the work he’s accomplished with Spalding to date has been enjoyable and thrilling and he is hoping that it shows on screen, and to the fans and to new viewers of the show.
The show is is in pre-production. Filming will begin in the spring of 2026.
There’s no confirmation of Mayfair Witches Season 3 final casting list, however it’s likely that the main group will be back, which will include Alexandra Daddario (Rowan Fielding), Tongayi Chirisa (Ciprien Grieve) as well as Jack Huston (Lasher). and Harry Hamlin (Cortland Mayfair) and Alysaa Jirrels (Moira Mayfair) from season 2. The new cast for the newly announced Spellbound family of witches has not yet been revealed.
