Troll 2 hits Netflix in 1 December 2025. It promises two times the number of trolls and excitement in this exciting film about folklore.
After the huge great success Troll from 2022 onwards, Netflix plans to launch Troll 2 in 2025! Its Troll crew has stated that it will be “…an more more enjoyable, better, larger and more exciting film – if feasible!” Troll 2 is based upon the Norwegian mythology of giants that are believed to reside and rest within the Douvre Mountains. However everything goes to hell when it decides to come up and cause havoc in the surrounding cities. The government calls paleontology researcher Nora Tidemann (Ine Marie Wilmann). Her father and she (played by Gard B. Eidsvold) try to stop in the Troll before it can reach Oslo which is the capital.
Following the fact that Troll was a big hit worldwide, Troll 2’s release is currently attracting attention. The new film also promises an action-packed adventure. The Norwegian army is ready for a troll hunt in Sunna the military helicopter that is fully equipped with troll-killing weapons.
The film was directed by Roar Uthaug, Troll 2 cast includes many of the actors who appeared in the original film, like Ine Marie Wilmann who returns in the role of Nora, Kim Falck returning as Andreas as Andreas, as well as Mads Sjogard Pettersen, who was Captain Kris. The new character for the film sequel will be Sara Khorami as Marion.
