It’s official! Madharaasi is set to release in cinemas at the 5th of September in 2025 and will be released in Tamil as well as dubbed versions in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam as well as an Hindi version that’s titled Dil Madharaasi.

On the audio launch in Chennai (24 August 2025), Murugadoss surprised fans by making the possibility of a appearance in the form of Sivakarthikeyan “the next in line” to famous figures like MGR, Rajini, and Vijay. He also revealed a terrifying incident while the filming process on Sri Lanka where the DOP’s finger was cut off, and then returned.
